I’m honoured to have played a wonderful event with all powerful women in attendance! “The Pleasure Playground Event” held Sept 30 in Calgary at Evolved Movement Arts… I opened up the DJ portion at around 9:25pm… I began with a brief sound bath using my 528hz tuning fork ❤ Hope you feel the vibe reverberate all the way through your entire body and into your heart ❤

Here is what to expect at the event
We will begin the evening with an opening ceremony at 6:30 PM. We will honor the lands we reside on, share our names in a circle, and set our intentions.
At 7:00 PM a Cacao Ceremony will be led by Sarah Connolly. Who will guide us to connect to our wombs and our hearts. Womb connection includes breathing into your pelvis and womb space. Reconciling any shame you carry around being a woman or from your past life experiences. This will also be an opportunity to honor that you are a woman with a womb and you get to celebrate this. Your womb space is connected to source/God/Creator and when we honour our wombs we acknowledge that we are creators connected to all life. We will then give thanks to the plant medicine of cacao and sit in silence.
Following the Cacao Ceremony at 8 PM we will begin the guided sensual somatic dance. You will be prompted to move your body (circle your hips, move your spine, and explore traditional stretches). You will be guided to use your breath and your voice to release stress and tension. You will then be prompted to explore how movement and dance can feel good in your body and awaken your senses. Sensual embodiment is an invitation to move in a way that feels good to you (this does not mean sexual, as there is a different intention here). Sensual embodiment is for you only, honoring what feels nourishing for you to express and allowing yourself to move how you desire to move.
After the guided dance the incredible DJS will start. From 9-12 you can dance to the DJS who will be sharing their music medicine, sit downstairs in the cozy area and enjoy some treats and chill vibes, or you could shop the goodies provided by the vendors. , we will let our inner freaks fly to three incredible Woman DJ’s , from 8:45 PM – 12:00 Midnight. This is a free flow time of the event where you can hangout in the chill lounge and connect with other women down stairs, shop at the vendors, listen to the music, or dance. i, we will let our inner freaks fly to three incredible Woman DJ’s , from 8:45 PM – 12:00 Midnight.
